At South Staffordshire Council, we’ve divided the district into five locality areas to build stronger connections, deliver tailored support, and ensure services meet the unique needs of each community.
This way of Locality Working was introduced as part of our Council Plan, and ensures our services meet the demand of local needs, rather than applying a one-size-fits-all approach.
Our Locality Areas:
- Locality One – Acton Trussell, Bednall & Teddesley Hay, Dunston with Coppenhall, Hatherton, Huntington, and Penkridge
- Locality Two – Blymhill & Weston under Lizard, Brewood & Coven, Lapley, Stretton & Wheaton Aston
- Locality Three – Cheslyn Hay, Essington, Featherstone, Great Wyrley, Hilton, Saredon, and Shareshill
- Locality Four – Bilbrook, Codsall, and Perton
- Locality Five – Bobbington, Enville, Himley, Kinver, Lower Penn, Pattingham & Patshull, Swindon, Trysull & Seisdon, and Wombourne
