Connecting the village of Cheslyn Hay to Walsall, the Wyrley Essington Canal Nature Reserve is a green corridor that offers an escape into nature. This beautiful reserve is home to a series of pools, a small woodland, and a diverse range of wildlife, making it the perfect spot for nature enthusiasts, families, and anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors.
South Staffordshire Council are interested in finding out how people use the site, what they think about it, and if they would like to get involved with volunteering and helping out onsite. We are also interested to hear from any local fishing clubs who might want to work with us in the future.
