Community Safety Survey 2025: Key findings and insights

Have your say on community safety in your area

16 October 2025 - 7 December 2025

You can be a part of this work too.

The “Community Safety in South Staffordshire” survey is asking for your perception of crime in your local area, how safe do you feel, what would help you to feel safer and asking your opinion on the existing priorities in the plan to reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, reassure communities and your thoughts on other areas the partnership should consider.

It’s a short survey but will help the Community Safety Partnership to continue in ensuring South Staffordshire continues to remain one of the safest places to live.

Community Safety Priorities in South Staffordshire for the forthcoming 2025-2026 Community Safety Plan :

  • Cross border crime – with a focus on vehicle crime
  • Serious Violence – including domestic abuse and violence against women and girls.
  • Anti-Social Behaviour – to ensure good relations in communities
  • Perception vs Reality – improving resident reassurance

Areas of focus for 2025-2025 (campaigns put in action but resources not always allocated) include Community Cohesion, Rural Crime, Fraud, Road Safety, Drug use/dealing and Health and Wellbeing.
